In spring 2023 Viking Malt opened a new malting plant in Lahti, continuing the city's 140-year malting tradition and replacing the company's previous facility at Lahden Niemi. The plant has a production capacity of around 85,000 tonnes per year: enough to cover Finland's entire malt demand on its own. Production includes pilsner malts, a wide range of specialty malts and Viking Malt's own faba-bean-based Sprau product line.

Ardor delivered the piping and equipment installations with insulation. The scope covered around five kilometres of chemical and water piping, the related equipment installations and insulation works, and PED category SEP–I pressure equipment documentation. The delivery is typical of Ardor's food-industry hygiene-process work: precise prefabrication, coordination across multiple piping types and pressure-equipment compliance in a single package.
