QUALITY AND SUSTAINABILITY

Ardor specializes in the digitally controlled prefabrication of industrial piping. We understand the specific demands of process industries, petrochemicals, and the marine sector - and we help our clients improve productivity and competitiveness in a sustainable way. Sustainability isn't a separate program for us; it's how we work.

A sustainable way of working

Our principles are set out in our Code of Conduct, our operating policy, and our partner principles. We work transparently, respect people, and protect the environment every day, in every project. Our management system covers the whole chain from the factory to the site.

Quality is engineered, not improvised

Quality is built on standardized work methods, certified processes, and a management system certified by DNV. When every step is defined, documented, and verifiable, quality isn't left to chance.

Digital documentation

Production records, welding logs, and inspection data flow digitally, transparently, and without errors. The information is available in real time throughout the project.

Traceability across project lifecycles

Every material, weld, and inspection is traceable from start to finish. That serves the audit needs of customers and our own continuous improvement alike.

Safety is built into every operation

At Ardor, occupational safety isn't a separate program, but a precondition for everything else. The factory provides standardized conditions, but the same safety culture and management system extend across the whole supply chain, including the site. We don't pass supply-chain safety risks to the client.

The factory as the benchmark

In the factory, a welder isn't exposed to weather, cramped spaces, or shortcuts forced by time pressure. Standardized methods, clear PPE guidance, and good ergonomics reduce the risk of accidents. A controlled factory environment also makes it possible to minimize environmental impact.

A management system, not just a policy

An ISO 45001 certified occupational health and safety system means safety is built into day-to-day management. Roles are clear, risks are assessed, and deviations are handled systematically.

Less waste, smaller footprint

Industrial piping is a materials-heavy industry, and steel production is carbon-intensive. We can't change that, but we can minimize our own share. Digital production management optimizes every cut, and surplus material is routed back into use.

Minimizing material waste

PipeCloud optimizes material use computationally. When every cut is planned digitally, off-cuts shrink, and surplus material is logged into the system and routed back into use.

An environmental system in practice

An ISO 14001 certified environmental system covers chemical handling, waste management, and emissions monitoring. In a factory environment, these can be controlled in a way that isn't possible in scattered site conditions.

FIVE STANDARDS, ZERO COMPROMISES

Our management system is DNV certified. The certifications cover quality, environment, occupational safety, and welding.

ISO 9001:2015
Quality management

A certified quality management system ensures that processes, documentation, and continuous improvement are part of day-to-day management.

ISO 14001:2015
Environmental system

A certified environmental system governs chemical handling, waste management, and emissions monitoring in a systematic way.

ISO 45001:2018
Occupational health and safety

Our certified occupational health and safety management system ensures safe working conditions at every workstation and post, across factory and site.

ISO 3834-2:2021
Welding quality management

Comprehensive quality requirements for fusion welding of metals. Level 2 covers production equipment, welding procedures, and welding coordination personnel.

EN 1090
Execution of load-bearing steel structures

The certification covers structural welded steel assemblies and product systems in execution classes EXC1 and EXC2.

Code of conduct

Our code of conduct guides everything we do - at the factory, on site, and in our supply chain. We require the same principles from our suppliers and subcontractors that we hold ourselves to. They cover the environment, society, integrity, and transparency.

Whistleblowing channel

Our whistleblowing channel is open to employees and external stakeholders. It can be used to report conduct that doesn't comply with our ethical principles or rules. All reports are handled with strict confidence. The channel is run by an external service provider.
