Carnival Corporation – approximately 800 tonnes of prefabricated piping

This reference story gathers Ardor's deliveries to Carnival Corporation vessel construction projects at the Meyer Turku shipyard. The group's sub-brands included Carnival Cruise Line (Mardi Gras) and Costa Crociere (Costa Smeralda).

Carnival MardiGras (2020)

Mardi Gras is Carnival Cruise Line's flagship and one of Meyer Turku's largest construction projects of the late 2010s. Ardor delivered approximately 400 tonnes of prefabricated piping to the vessel in 2019–2020. About four-fifths of the delivery went to the shipyard's system suppliers, with the remainder going directly to the shipyard's own use.

The vessel was handed over to Carnival Cruise Line in December 2020. Mardi Gras is the second Meyer Turku vessel to be fitted with an LNG propulsion system — the engine room was built at NEPTUN WERFT in Rostock. The vessel is also historic in being the first cruise ship in the world to feature a built-in roller coaster.

Costa Smeralda(2019)

Our prefabricated piping deliveries to Costa Cruise Lines' vessel reached approximately 400 tonnes. The majority of deliveries were produced for use in the areas built by Meyer Turku's system suppliers. The Costa cruise ship was completed in 2019.
